A/N: Double drabble.




“Hummmmmm,” something said, close to Ianto’s side of the bed.


Reluctantly, Ianto poked his head out from beneath the bedcovers and squinted at the luminous dial of the clock on his nightstand; it was barely three-fifteen in the morning.


“Again?” he asked plaintively, keeping his voice low so as not to disturb Jack.


Nosy hummed apologetically.


“Not your fault.” Pushing back the covers, Ianto slid out of bed, fumbling for his slippers and robe. He felt like he’d only just closed his eyes, but he’d actually been asleep for almost an hour. Not that it seemed to have done him any good; he was exhausted.


Before he could even put his robe on he heard a strident wail, in stereo, and sighed, giving Nosy a long-suffering look. He could manage one by himself, but not two at the same time. Even with Nosy’s invaluable assistance he simply didn’t have enough hands. So much for letting Jack get some rest.


“Looks like you’d better give Jack a poke.” Unlike with Ianto, humming at Jack never had any effect, but he couldn’t sleep through being poked repeatedly by a warm, furry snout.


Steeling himself, Ianto headed into battle; the twins needed changing.
