Summary: By refusing to follow Jack’s orders, the team has unleashed a monster.

A/N: Double drabble.
 
 


Giving orders sucked, especially when the team either didn’t listen, argued with him, or plain ignored him, doing whatever they wanted.
 

It wasn’t even that Jack wanted the people he commanded to follow his orders blindly. But if they disagreed with his chosen course of action in any given situation, they should have a word with him in private, let him explain his reasons, not just argue with him in public or worse, blatantly overrule him, especially if they didn’t have all the facts. 

 
In the field there wasn’t always time to explain every little thing. In an emergency situation it was important that his people should do as they were told right away. They could query him about his orders later, if they still didn’t agree, although after the fact if they carried out his orders correctly then the reasoning behind them should be obvious.

 
This time the whole team had defied him. He’d told them not to open the Rift for any reason, but they had and now a demon had been unleashed to suck the life out of every living thing.
 

As Jack went to face Abaddon, he hoped this might serve as a lesson to them.
