A carnival atmosphere hangs over the 4077 today. Never mind that they’re a scant few miles from the frontlines of a war disguised as a police action, never mind that they might be inundated by casualties at any given moment, sometimes the only way to stay sane is to party.

 
When each day could be your last, you have to take every opportunity to celebrate being alive.
 

The kids from the orphanage have been trucked in. There’s food, music, games, and laughter. They all know it won’t last, but for a little while everybody can almost forget where they are.
