Even after everything that happened with Lisa, or the Cyberman masquerading as Lisa, Jack had never revoked Ianto’s access to the secure archives. That had struck him as odd at the time; there were a lot of extremely dangerous and sensitive items stored in there, things that could cause untold damage if used improperly, even things that could prove lethal.

Had Jack been hoping Ianto would arm himself with one, providing a good excuse for terminating him permanently, or had he simply forgotten he’d given Ianto the access codes in the first place? He never said, and Ianto never asked. He didn’t want to know the answer.

The point remained that the codes never changed, so when the rest of the team staged their insurrection, Ianto had simply given them the relevant one and joined them in opening the Rift. Not one of his better decisions, admittedly.

Then Jack had died, resurrected, and left, still without making any changes to the security systems, which was probably a good thing. Leaderless for months, at least they’d had access to everything they might need.

Maybe that was why Jack hadn’t changed anything. He’d known someday they’d have to carry on without him.

I think I've written something similar, but at this point it feels like I write similar things anyway. I'm still struggling with some of my bingo card as well. OMG I have a headache. I've been dealing with that the last couple of days, too. It's hard to believe that it's almost a week til Dec. 1. There is just too much to do.

We tied with Wales today. I struggled with who to root for. I usually root for Wales, but the US usually sucks. I was glad they tied. I only got to see part of it today. My head hurt so bad I had to lay down. We play England on Friday. I haven't seen the time. I have to take my car for service so I don't know if I can see it. I still can't believe Argentina lost today. I'm wondering about that.

I was thinking you'd told me that you didn't like soccer. It makes sense considering the violence in soccer over there. We don't have that. I usually watch the Super Bowl , but I'm not sure about this year. I like the game itself, but this year the half-time has me irritated. They used to have such great hall-tme shows and now they keep putting kid music on. The great adds have gone down hill, too. I'm trying to figure out how to watch the game withoyught having to put up with all the crap.

My headache finally went away. Thank you. What a relief. I felt like I had an ice pick in my brain for days.

I'll be curious to see who plays this year in the Super Bowl. Last year's game was really good. Usually the game isn't all that good. It's usually a blow out on one way or the other.

I hope you don't. have my headache. That was misery

Who'd you tell me that your team was? I don't have a team anymore.

The Bears won the Super Bowl my senior year of high school . They were really good that year. That was the year that William Refrigerator Perry was such a big deal.

It didn't hurt that Jim McMahon was hot.

That seems to be common among football players. There are so many that have physical problems in later years, but not even physical problems, but a lot of brain damage from having concussions. If I had a boy I'm not sure if I'd let him play football. I'd be afraid. They need to make some sort of better helmet. This is the modern world. Some helmet company should find a way.

I like watching it, too, but they've got to make it safer for these guys or girls. There are girls playing in high school these days. I usually see quarter backs or kickers, but fairly recently I saw a girl interviewed that was a receiver.

I think she was the first female receiver to make a touchdown. I'm not sure if it was in the country or in her state. It was still impressive.
