Summary: Bikky is upset that Ryo is dating Dee.

“Why?” Bikky demanded to know. “You could date anyone, maybe that Agent Spacey, why’d you have to pick Dee? I thought you didn’t want him groping you, I tried to protect you from him!”
 

“I know you did, Biks, and I’m grateful for that. It allowed me the time I needed to think things through and come to terms with who I am. Things change though, and so do people. I like Diana, she’s a good friend, but I’m not attracted to her. I’m gay, and deep down I’ve always known that; I was just scared to admit it, even to myself.”
 

“But you’re a cop, you’re not scared of anything!”

 
“Sure I am, I’m scared all the time. It’s not easy being an adult, or a cop, and being gay can be even scarier. There are so many people out there who hate anyone who’s not exactly like them. But Dee helped me to understand that being scared isn’t a good enough reason to hide who I am. He’s helped me to be brave enough to face up to things I was trying to avoid, and he’s good to me.”
 

“He’d better be, or I’ll kick his ass. Again!”
