A/N: Double drabble.
Sitting at his desk, Jack pouted into his coffee. “This isn’t what I ordered.”
“Of course it is!” Gwen wasn’t in the best mood herself, mostly because Jack had sent her out in the pouring rain to fetch coffee from the shop across the Plas. Okay, so they’d drawn straws and she’d lost, but she was sure they’d been rigged somehow.
“I asked for extra strong! Did you leave the lid off on your way back? This is so weak it tastes like dishwater.”
“Don’t blame me, blame the barista who made it. If it’s not to your liking, you can go get your own, because I’m not going out in that rain again. Nobody else is complaining.”
“I wish Ianto was here. He knows how I like my coffee, and it’s always perfect.” Jack stared mournfully into the poor excuse for coffee Gwen had handed him. “Not like this.”
Gwen gave an exasperated huff. “He’ll be back tomorrow! He only took the afternoon off because he had a dentist appointment. Can’t you survive for a few hours without his coffee?”
“If this is what I have to drink instead, then no.”
“Tough luck. Just shut up and drink it.”
