Summary: It takes a lot to anger a Fluff, but when it happens…
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
A/N: Double drabble.
Contrary to what most people who’d met them probably believed, Fluffs, despite being gentle, inquisitive, friendly creatures, could and did get angry. They were empathic, meaning they could feel and respond to the emotions of those they were closest to. They could even share those emotions, although they generally sought to bring emotional balance to those around them, for everyone’s good and for their own comfort. Experiencing their friends’ distress tended to make them rather frazzled, which was never pleasant.
Right now, Jack was dead, Andy and Tosh were injured, Owen was struggling to care for both his teammate and his fiancée, and the other three team members were in a desperate, pitched battle against the enemy, a band of warlike aliens intent on invasion. Even though it was in the Hub, Nosy could sense everything that was happening, and it saw red.
Seething with anger, it exited the Hub through the tourist office, and zoomed to the rescue, slithering as fast as it was able, which was a pretty impressive speed.
Coming at the aliens up on the Plas from behind, it sank blunt teeth into the nearest one. The evil monsters wouldn’t get away with hurting its friends!
