Summary: The TARDIS has gone through as many transformations as the Doctor.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
It isn’t only the Doctor who changes during regeneration; he’s so inextricably linked to his TARDIS that when he regenerates, she does too.
After so long, he can scarcely remember how she’d looked when he first found her; when he thinks back, his overall impression is of whiteness, a white room with the roundels that are so much a part of her gracing the walls, and the console standing in the middle.
Back then, she’d been bland, clinical, no personality of her own. How that’s changed over the last thousand years!
Her many regenerations have given her personality to spare.
