Summary: Owen is not enjoying treating his latest batch of alien patients.

A/N: Double drabble.
“Coughs and sneezes spread diseases; didn’t anyone ever teach you people that?” Owen grumbled, as yet another of his alien patients sneezed all over him. He hadn’t been in the best of moods to start with, since he was hung over and feeling decidedly fragile. Dealing with almost two dozen alien patients, most of whom had minor injuries, would have been bad enough without all the sneezing.
The team had gone to the aid of a spaceship that had made a somewhat precipitous landing having been dragged through the Rift and ejected a bit too close to the planet to allow for proper landing procedures. Damage to the ship wasn’t too severe, according to Jack, and repairs were well underway, but the crew still needed treatment, and Owen had never enjoyed treating living patients.
He patched up another alien, stitching a cut on one of its upper arms.
“Okay, you’re done.”
It sneezed at him, left, and the next in line took its place.
“You do know they’re not really sneezing, don’t you?” Ianto asked, on his way past with the replacement parts he’d just fetched from the Hub.
“Then what the hell are they doing?”
“Saying thank you.”
“Oh.”
The End
