Summary: Jack is determined to take the team away for a short break.

A/N: Double drabble.
“Come on!” Jack pleaded. “It’ll be fun!”
The team looked at their leader, unimpressed. “The last time you told us that, we almost got killed and eaten,” Ianto reminded him, his teammates nodding agreement, expressions sober.
“This isn’t like that!” Jack insisted. “I promise. This little beauty is fully operational, we have plenty of fuel.” He patted the hull of the small spacecraft. “I’ve flown these hundreds of times, I know every system inside out, and I’ve triple checked all of them. We can fly to…” He thought for a minute. “Jospar isn’t too far. With the hyperdrive we can be there in around eight hours, spend a couple of days browsing the marketplace, take in the nightlife, then fly home. Less than three days away, no one will have a chance to miss us.”
“Shouldn’t someone stay here to monitor the Rift?” Gwen said, sounding uncertain.
“I was about to suggest that,” Ianto agreed.
“I volunteered first, and I have a husband so I should be the one who stays behind.”
“Nobody’s staying behind!” Jack put his foot down. “We’re going to Jospar for a short break, and that’s final!” The team would have fun if it killed him.
