A/N: Double drabble.
It’s silly really, and Drake feels foolish, but even so, he’s come this far so he’s going to do it.
“JJ?”
“Yes, Drakey?” The way JJ looks at him, all blue eyes and wide, happy smile, makes Drake’s heart trip over itself before pounding like crazy. He wants JJ to always look at him that way, because nobody else has ever made him feel so special.
“I… uh… I found this and I wanted you to have it.”
It’s just a cloverleaf, plucked from the grass, but it’s a lucky four-leaf one, and maybe by giving it to his boyfriend he can keep his lucky streak going. Maybe.
JJ’s eyes light up. “A four-leaf clover! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a real one before!” Carefully accepting the tiny green leaf cluster, he beams at Drake. “Thank you, Drakey! I’m going to press it in a book and treasure it forever!”
Drake knows there’s a silly grin on his face, but he doesn’t care; he’s never dated anyone easier to please. Maybe it’s because JJ can afford anything he wants, but it’s the silly little things that mean the most to him. All Drake wants is to make JJ happy.
