A/N: Double drabble.
Weighed down by a sense of doom and gloom, Ianto wandered aimlessly among the corridors and rooms, shelves and filing cabinets, that constituted Torchwood Three’s ‘archives’. There was stuff down here from as far back as the late 1800s, all the way up to the present day, and yet it didn’t seem to be arranged in any particular order. Even in the filing cabinets, it looked like stuff had been crammed in wherever there was a space.
He’d agreed to take on the task of sorting the place out mostly so he’d have a good excuse to be away from the main Hub for long periods of time. It would allow him to tend to Lisa’s needs without anyone becoming suspicious. But now he was getting a good look at the state of things, he couldn’t help but be outraged by the lack of care. Back at Torchwood One, the Archives had been painstakingly catalogued, with everything in its place. This was disgraceful!
His fingers itched to sort the mess out, to wrest order from chaos, but at the same time, he had no idea how he could tackle a task of this magnitude alone. It would take an army!
The End
