Summary: Dee and Ryo stand accused of police brutality.

A/N: Double drabble.
“What gets me,” Dee said, pacing back and forth in frustrated annoyance, “is that idiot tryin’ to charge us with police brutality when we’re the ones suffered all the damage. He doesn’t hardly have a mark on him, least nothin’ WE caused, just a few bruises on his ass, which were his own fault. I warned him to be careful on the stoop, told him the steps were icy, but he didn’t listen!”
“Wouldn’t surprise me if he slipped deliberately.” Ryo leaned back in his chair and winced; he’d wrenched his back and sprained his ankle when the man they were arresting fell and took both detectives down with him. Dee had sustained a black eye and a bloody nose from where the suspect’s head had hit him in the face as the three of them had gone down in a tangle of arms and legs.
“Yeah, was probably hopin’ he’d be injured bad enough we’d have to take him to the ER. Still leaves us stuck on desk duty while his complaint gets investigated though.”
“We’d be on desk duty anyway because of our injuries,” Ryo pointed out. “You can’t see, and I can’t walk.”
“Sucks to be us.”
