I've read fics where Owen has been called Welsh when he's a Londoner, and Ianto has been described as having brown eyes when they're blue. and I HATE when people call Jack's coat a jacket. Picky I know, but a jacket is a SHORT coat, and Jack's coat can't be described as short. I feel like a favourite character is being maligned because I LOVE that coat! My favourite OT3 is Jack/Ianto/Coat. It's a character in its own right.
And then there are the fics where people seem to think that Cardiff is in London *rolls eyes*
