Summary: Tara is dead, and Willow is not going to rest until she exacts vengeance on the one responsible.

All the color has gone out of Willow’s world. A split second: that was all it took, a split second and an idiot with a gun. Now her heart is a blackened, shrivelled thing inside her chest, because Tara is gone.

 
There’s nothing worse than watching the light of life fade from your lover’s eyes. Nothing worse than knowing everything that makes your life worth living has been ripped from you. It should have been Buffy; that was who Warren meant to kill, but instead sweet, gentle, beautiful Tara is the one lying lifeless, her empty eyes staring at nothing.

 
This isn’t over, Willow is going to make Warren pay if it’s the last thing she ever does. Vengeance will be hers; she’ll tear the entire world apart if she has to!
 

Tara was the sun in Willow’s sky, the song in her heart, the very air that she breathed. She was the only one who could keep Willow in check, and now…
 

The color has gone from Willow’s world, and soon all the color will be gone from Willow herself until all that’s left will be black. Her clothes, her hair, her eyes: everything will match her blackened heart.
