Summary: Travel by TARDIS isn’t the smoothest ride.

Travelling with the Doctor is a mad whirl, not just because of the literally out of this world adventures he drags his human companions on, but because a blue box that travels through time as well as space is never going to do so in a conventional manner.
It spins in a way that would make its occupants beyond giddy if not for the inertial dampeners ensuring the ride feels smoother than it is. Even so, it’s often impossible to remain standing without holding on to something.
Even the most death-defying fairground ride on earth has nothing on the TARDIS!
