Summary: The Doctor is more than a match for most monsters.

It took a lot to put the Doctor off his stride, so when he and Clara stepped out of the TARDIS and came face-to-face with something eight-foot tall, all bristling hair, claws, razor-sharp teeth, bad breath, and even worse attitude, he didn’t so much as flinch.
Clara ducked behind him as the nightmarish creature bared its fangs and snarled.
“What is it?”
“Guard dog.”
It advanced on them, still snarling, and the Doctor snarled back, glaring at it from beneath his intimidating eyebrows.
The creature turned tail and fled.
“That’s better. Just have to know how to talk to them.”
The End
