The Daleks are certain of their superiority over every other lifeform in the universe, secure in the knowledge that thanks to their superior intellect and weaponry, there is no one who can oppose them, no one who can halt their plans, no one they have any reason to fear.
They’re wrong, of course, because no matter how confident the Daleks may be of their ability to overcome any obstacles in their path, there is one individual preventing their ultimate victory.
The Doctor stands firm between the Daleks and the rest of the universe. In every battle, he’s always the victor.
