Ryo frowned at his colleagues, lounging around the squad room stuffing their faces. “You really should try to eat a healthier diet.”


“But we’re cops!” Ted protested.


“Yeah!” Dee agreed. “Everyone knows cops drink coffee, and eat donuts and pizza!”


“Everyone also knows cops are overweight with high blood pressure and heart disease,” Ryo pointed out, settling at his desk to enjoy his packed lunch of wholegrain bread rolls stuffed with tuna salad, and the fresh strawberries and blueberries he had for dessert.


Dee gazed at the slice of pizza in his hand. Suddenly it didn’t look nearly so appetising.
