“Wingmirrors are there so that when you’re driving, you can see what’s coming up behind you in your blind spot, and for avoiding running into people when you’re reversing,” Ianto pointed out with an annoyed glare. “They are NOT meant as convenient places for mounting CB antennas, especially not when you’re idiot enough to use duct tape!”
“I had to attach it to SOMETHING,” Jack protested, still not sure why Ianto was so angry with him over it. “It was that or have Gwen hold it out the window while I was driving. And duct tape is great! It can be used for practically anything!”
“That doesn’t mean it SHOULD be!”
“It was an emergency! With the phone networks down, I needed to keep in contact with the rest of the team. I use some ingenuity and suddenly I’m the bad guy?”
“Your ingenuity isn’t the problem. It’s the duct tape that I have issue with. What on earth were you thinking? No, forget I asked that, because you don’t bother to think, do you?”
“Hey!” Jack glared at Ianto. “I resent that! I DO think!”
“Wonderful! Then I’ll just let YOU get the tape off the wingmirror, shall I?”
The End
