Summary: Sometimes the Doctor’s companions get a bit stressed.

Working under pressure, preventing global disaster at the last possible second, was familiar territory for the Doctor. Sometimes it was the best way to handle situations, because if they were fixed too soon, that left too much time for them to go wrong again, which in turn resulted in him having to fix them a second time.
 

Last minute fixes had a better chance of staying fixed, in his opinion. Why make anything more complicated than it had to be?
 

Of course, not everyone agreed with him.
 

“Aren’t you going to do anything?”
 

The pressure sometimes got to his companions.
