OMG, just found this amazing video of salmon crossing a slightly flooded road and dodging traffic. How weird is that? Not something drivers usually have to watch out for, but it's oddly mesmerising, not to mention edge-of-seat stuff when they go scurrying in front of a car!

That is insane! I've never seen anything like that before.

Odd how the embed function didn't work. And the link itself only worked for me here. On LJ, it just gave me an error message. I'm glad I tried it over here; that was worth seeing.

I've replaced the link with embedded versions as the video has now been taken down from the news page I linked from.

It really is extraordinary, watching them scuttle over the road, dodging cars. And did you see the one going the wrong way? *giggles* There's always one that doesn't know where he's going!

Found them on youtube and the embed code on those worked, so now they're watchable!
