“What’re you doing?” Ryo asked, a note of amusement in his voice. “Trying to re-enact Arthurian legend?”


Forehead beaded with sweat, Dee peered up at his partner. “What?”


Ryo pointed. “The sword in the stone?”


Dee huffed in annoyance. “First off this is a saw, not a sword.”


“It’s still stuck.”


“No it’s not; it just won’t move.”


“Isn’t that the same thing?”


“Not even close,” Dee insisted. “Y’know, you could help instead of just standin’ there makin’ fun of me.”


“What do you want me to do?”


“Hold the other end of the plank still while I cut it?”
