Summary: The last thing Buffy expected was to walk in on her mom with a strange man.

This isn’t the kind of thing Buffy expects to walk in on in the kitchen of her own home; her mom, with a man she’s never seen before, kissing and carrying on like a couple of teenagers!
 

It’s shocking, and awkward, and embarrassing, and she wishes the ground would open and swallow her, but most of all she wishes it wasn’t happening. It just feels wrong.
 

Then again, her mom’s an adult, and Buffy did just barge in on her, so maybe an apology is in order, along with introductions.
 

Buffy tries to be polite, but there’s something about Ted…
