A/N: Triple drabble.
Dropping into his chair, Dee studied his partner across their back-to-back desks and grinned.
“Lovin’ the designer stubble; it suits ya, makes ya look all rough and rugged, kinda dangerous.”
Ryo scowled at his lover. “Don’t laugh; my razor broke last night and I was going to buy a new one on my way to work this morning, but I was already running late because Bikky lost his bus pass. We practically turned the apartment upside down looking for it, and then he found it in the bottom of his book bag while I was driving him to school.”
“Hey, I wasn’t laughin’; I meant every word. Don’t think I’ve ever seen ya with stubble.” Ryo was usually meticulous when it came to shaving, every day, morning and night. “It’s sexy as hell.”
That brought a flush to Ryo’s unshaven cheeks, and an unwilling smile to his lips.
“You really think so?”
“You haveta ask? Y’know I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it. Why’re ya so self-conscious?”
Ryo shrugged. “I don’t know, never really had much of a beard. I used to get teased at the Academy if I skipped shaving.”
“Trust me, babe; nobody would tease ya now. In fact, you’d make me a very happy guy if once in a while you’d forget about shavin’ for a day or two.” Dee stared lustfully at his lover. “Come back to my place after work tonight and I’ll show ya how much I appreciate the rough and ready look.” He desperately wanted to nibble his way along Ryo’s stubbly jaw, feel the rough texture against his lips and rub his cheek against it.
“I guess that would be okay; Bikky has basketball practice after school, so he won’t be home until later.”
Dee grinned. “You won’t regret it.”
