“Ianto!” Jack called across the Hub to where the man in question was talking with Tosh. As soon as Ianto turned to look at him, Jack put his palms together as if praying, and gave his lover a pleading look.
 

Sighing, Ianto threw an apologetic smile Tosh’s way. “Sorry, won’t be long. D’you want anything while I’m up?”
 

“Green tea would be lovely, if it’s not too much trouble.”

 
“No trouble at all. I can make it while Jack’s coffee is brewing.” Ianto headed for the kitchenette.
 

“His Master’s voice,” Own muttered around the pen he was chewing. “Jack calls and Teaboy goes running.”
 

“Jack’s our boss,” Tosh pointed out.
 

“I noticed Teaboy didn’t ask if I wanted anything.”
 

“Does he need to? Why bother asking when he already knows what you’ll say?”
 

“Yeah, I suppose.”
 

A few minutes later, Ianto delivered Owen’s and Tosh’s dinks before taking his tray up to Jack’s office.
 

“What kept you? I’ve been waiting ages!” Jack snatched his mug before Ianto could set the tray down.
 

“Coffee addict,” Ianto accused, smirking.
 

“Am not! I could quit anytime I wanted, no problem.”
 

“So why don’t you?”
 

Jack sipped his coffee and grinned. “Don’t want to.”
