Summary: There’s a storm raging, and Ryo’s apartment suffers unexpected damage.

A/N: Double drabble.
 


 
The sound of glass breaking had Ryo throwing himself to the floor and covering his head. When he dared to move and assess the damage, he was stunned to see a tree branch jutting through the broken living room window. He knew the storm was bad, but that was crazy!
 

Wind was now whipping through the window, carrying rain with it; Ryo knew he couldn’t leave things like that. There was glass all over the floor as well, which he’d need to sweep up. Picking himself up off the floor, he went to get dustpan and brush; he’d clean up the glass, then move the furniture and see what he could do about covering the broken pane once he’d dealt with the branch. He’d have to pull it all the way in, unless it was still attached to the rest of the tree.
 

“Ryo?” Bikky appeared, rubbing his eyes. “I heard a weird noise.”

 
“Nothing to worry about, Biks, just a bit of storm damage. Go back to bed before you catch cold, everything will be fine.”
 

“Oh. Okay. Is that a tree?”
 

“Part of one.” Ryo smiled wryly. “It might be a bit breezy in here for a while.”
