Summary: Janet the Weevil is a bit under the weather.

A/N: Double drabble.
Something was wrong with Janet the Weevil. She’d lost her appetite over the past few days, picking at her food and spending a lot of time huddled on the stone bench with her arms wrapped around her stomach. Ianto was understandably concerned; if she was sick, then whatever ailment she’d caught might spread to the other residents in the cells.
“Owen, I need you to take a look at Janet.”
“Already seen her, thanks. When you’ve seen one Weevil you’ve seen ‘em all.”
Ianto rolled his eyes. “I meant in your capacity as Torchwood’s medic. I think she’s sick, so you need to examine and treat her.”
“Weevils don’t get sick; they’ve got the strongest immune system I’ve ever come across. What exactly d’you think’s wrong with her?”
“How should I know? I’m not a doctor! She’s off her food and keeps holding her stomach.”
“Fine, I’ll look at her.”
A while later, Owen returned. “Well, she’s not sick, she’s pregnant.”
Ianto stared at the medic in disbelief. “How? She’s been alone in that cell for months!”
“What’s up?” Jack asked, wandering over.
Owen and Ianto stared at him. “Janet’s pregnant.”
“Hey, don’t look at me! I’m not the father!”
