Help me choose...

So, I'm getting ready to knit yet another new sweater, I have some gorgeous teal yarn, and I've narrowed down my pattern choice to two, but I like them both and can't decide.

That's why I'm asking everyone to cast their vote, which of these two should I make?

It's actually a bit darker than it looks in the photo, but it is indeed gorgeous.

I wish I could do needle work. It would be a nice skill to have. My grandmother didn't have the patience to teach me or my mother.

It would be nice to live in the UK. I haven't been in so long, but it felt like home when I visited so long ago.

Did you hear that there's been talk of Torchwood coming back? I'm afraid to hope.

No, I didn't hear that, but I have to say I'm not enthusiastic about the idea. If it comes back under RTD's control, it'll be Gwen in charge with Rhys dead and Jack pledging his undying devotion to the only woman he's ever loved. *cringes at just writing that* We all know RTD thinks the sun shines out of Gwen's arse and every man is hopelessly in love with her complete and utter perfection. *eyeroll* In reality, Gwen Cooper is a condescending, patronising, self-righteous hypocrite.

It sounded like RDJ was interested. I wonder if there's any chance that Eve Myles won't be interested and Ianto could be resurrected. A girl can hope. I'm not exactly thrilled with Eve these days either. She wasn't very supportive of John. I don't know if they buried the hatchet or not. Gareth had John's back.

Well of course Gareth did! He's a good guy.

I think RTD kind of went to Eve's head, he built her up like she was something special when in reality her acting, what I've seen of it, is very one-note, and it's left her a bit full of herself, too much like Gwen.

I'm still crossing my fingers that if the do bring it back that she turns it down. Maybe she'll think its above her now.

With any luck she won't want to do it. Maybe JB will turn it down too. Can't have Torchwood without Jack, don't WANT Torchwood without Ianto.

Doctor Who starts here tomorrow though, and I'm actually excited despite RTD being in charge.

I can't believe the Dr. Who special isn't on TV here. It's streaming on Disney+. I'm glad I'm obsessed with Marvel, so I have that streaming service.

Yes, it really was. Poor JB. His fans still love him though.

I loathe Catherine Tate, but I love Donna, so I'm actually pleased. Her storyline needs to be wrapped up. I'd like more Martha too, she never managed to get out of Rose's shadow, but Amy is out of the question since she ended up in the past with Rory and lived out her life without seeing the Doctor again. I'd rather Rose didn't get brought back again, her story has already been revisited often enough.

Never really cared for Donna, but I'm looking forward the the new special. I'm willing to be open minded and I love David Tennant.

We all have our favourite companions, and our favourite Doctors, and that's good. I'm looking forward to the special tonight, it's right before Strictly Come Dancing, so I'll be watching TV all evening =)

I like the pattern of the pink one, and the neck looks considerably more comfortable than the blue. Just my opinion. :)

Oooh, a vote for the righthand one! That one hasn't proved so popular.

Neckline doesn't matter because I'll make in lower anyway. I hate anything up around my neck, so I simply adjust patterns to what's comfortable for me =D

I'm the same way with necklines. :) It HAS to be a V or preferrably a scoop neck for me to be able to wear it without driving myself batty.

I do love a V neck, or a low crewneck. Making my own means I can get a fit that works for me =D

It really is gorgeous, and a deeper, richer colour than it appears in the photo.

And yet another lacy diamonds vote! Pretty sure that's the one it'll be. The other pattern will be knitted at a later date in a different colour.
