Summary: Mud is one thing the English countryside has an abundance of.

Sitting in the driver’s seat, his immaculate clothes well clear of the mud, the Doctor looked back over his shoulder at Jo and two of the Brigadier’s men.
“When I give the signal, you must push as hard as you can,” he instructed.
“But the mud…” Jo trailed off unhappily.
“I’m sure it won’t be a problem if you all push hard enough.”
Resigning herself to the inevitable, Jo prepared to help push Bessie out of the mud the car had become stuck in. The Doctor would be fine, but the rest of them were about to get very muddy.
