“What’s wrong with tweed?” The Doctor examined his jacket, admiring the quality of the garment. Okay, so he’d had to grab whatever clothing he could find, but he wasn’t disappointed, despite Amy’s apparent disapproval. “I like it. People should wear more tweed. It’s very durable.”
“It’s a bit dated though,” Rory cut in. “I mean, it’s the sort of thing fusty old university professors and schoolteachers wear, and you’re…”
“Not fusty or old,” Amy finished for her boyfriend.
Buttoning the jacket, the Doctor straightened his bowtie. “Well, I’m the one wearing it, and I think it makes me look distinguished.”
