A/N: Triple drabble.
It has to be perfect.
Willow knows she hurt Oz, so badly, and okay, it was only a few kisses here and there, she never let things go any further than that, but the kiss Oz saw only happened because she and Xander thought they were gonna die. Still, it shouldn’t have happened, she shouldn’t have given in to stupid temptation because of an old crush.
She needs Oz to know it will never happen again, not with Xander and not with anyone else. Oz is the one she wants to be with, just Oz, and that’s why she has to do this, to prove it to him. Setting the mood is key.
So the fire’s lit, there’s soft music playing, Barry White, and the room is lit only by candles because candlelight is romantic, right? Willow’s put on her prettiest dress, done her make-up and hair, splashed on some perfume… All she has to do now is wait for Oz to arrive, and then…
She’s ready; she wants this, wants to be with Oz, it’s just a big step and she’s nervous. Not enough to back out, she really does want Oz to be her first, but are the candles too much? Will Oz think she’s trying to seduce him? Although, she is, that’s what this is all about, that and proving to Oz that he’s the one, the only, accept no substitutes.
Can she do this? Will Oz even want her? Has he forgiven her enough to accept what she’s offering? If he hasn’t, then this is gonna be awkward, but it will be anyway, because the first time’s always awkward. At least, that’s what she’s heard. But Oz is experienced…
Willow fiddles with her dress, sits down, stands up, then sits again. She’s ready.
She’s almost sure.
