Summary: Everyone knows how to stay safe, except Cordelia.

A/N: Double drabble.
Sunset used to be the time when Sunnydale came alive, people going out on dates, for meals, to the movies, or even doing a spot of window shopping, eating takeout or an ice cream.
Not anymore.
Nowadays, everyone knows to be indoors by the time the sun goes down, and even then, they can’t be sure they’ll stay safe. Vamps can’t enter people’s homes without an invitation, but public buildings are fair game, hospitals, offices, schools, restaurants… Not that Sunnydale’s restaurants serve dinner anymore, they’re strictly breakfast and lunch. Even the bars don’t get many customers, and the ones they DO get usually don’t come back a second time. Well, not alive anyway.
Everyone knows how best to stay safe. Dress drab, because vamps are drawn to bright colors. If you HAVE to go out after dark, don’t go alone, and wear a cross, carry holy water, garlic, a stake…
The White Hats patrol, as best they can, rescuing people who get caught outside after sundown, because that does happen occasionally. They don’t always succeed though.
And here comes Cordy, done up to the nines in a bright blue dress, vamp bait on legs. It’s like she doesn’t even KNOW!
