One of the best things about having pockets that are bigger on the inside is that wherever he goes, the Doctor always has snacks with him, just in case he, or anyone else, gets hungry.

 
It’s handy right now, since he, Amy, and Rory are stuck in a sort of jail cell, and no one has offered them anything to eat.

 
“How long are we going to be in here?” grumbles Rory. “I’m starving, I thought we were going out for dinner.”

 
“Slight crimp in our plans.” The Doctor digs in his pockets. “I have snacks. Who wants a banana?”
