“Surrender to the might of the Igniktak Nation!” the alien demanded, waving its spear at the Doctor.
“What? Oh, nonononono, can’t do that!” The Doctor rocked back on his heels, pulled out his glasses, and put them on, peering at the strange being in front of him. “No, that won’t do at all!”
“Why not?” The alien sounded less sure of itself now.
“Well, for one thing, you’re holding your spear all wrong.”
“I am?”
“Yep! Here, let me show you.” Taking the spear, the Doctor aimed the pointy end at the alien. “There. Now take me to your leader.”
