Summary: Ianto contemplates the sudden changes in his life.

A/N: I’ve finally managed something fluffy!

A new year and a new life; Ianto couldn’t get his head around how much had changed in the last few days.

First had come the New Year and with it, an unexpected question.

“Happy New Year, Ianto! Will you marry me?”

Then, just a few days later, had come an even more unexpected pronouncement.

“Ianto, I don’t know how to tell you this, but… I’m pregnant.”

Ianto glared at the tangle of yarn in his hands; he’d master this if it killed him. Unravelling the mess, he started casting on again.

How hard could it be to knit bootees?

LOL, poor Ianto. Too many shocks in a row will addle a brain, even one as organised as his - and knitting needs a slightly organised brain, at least if one is a beginner, at least!

Hope he gets his booties sorted before the little nipper arrives and needs footie covers!

Ianto will figure it out, once his mind stops whirling! He's determined. After all, there's a baby ob the way, SOMEONE needs to knit! I suspect he has an early memory from childhood of his mother announcing that someone is having a baby and getting out her knitting needles. It's an automatic response, lol!
