Dee wasn’t a coward; he’d faced down armed thugs, knife wielding maniacs, and even stone cold killers with all the courage and determination a cop should display. That kind of danger was expected in his line of work; anyone who couldn’t handle it had no business being in law enforcement.


This, however, was a very different thing, and Dee didn’t mind admitting he was… well, spooked. Even if he’d been armed, his gun wouldn’t have done him any good; the only sensible course of action was to beat a hasty retreat.


Ghosts were definitely not a part of his job!
