With Bikky at college in California and Carol in New York, celebrating special occasions was tricky. Neither could leave their studies and fly to the other end of the country to say ‘Happy Birthday!’


Bikky had posted Carol’s present and card, and for a touch of romance, had sent in a request to their favourite radio station to play a record for her.


“Next up, a dedication to Carol, from her fiancé,” the DJ announced cheerfully.


Bikky’s head thumped onto his desk as Taylor Swift’s ‘Should’ve Said No’ started playing.


That was SO not the message he wanted to send!
