A New Year - Time For Resolutions!

A New Year is here and it's traditional to make resolutions, which is something I'm crap at! However this year, I have one I hope to stick to! It involves reading fanfiction =)

It occurs to me that there are hundreds of fanfic series that I haven't had a chance to read yet. Mostly I stick to oneshots, with a few WiPs that I follow. So, my resolution is to pick a completed, shortish fanfic series each week to read - longer ones might take a couple of weeks to read of course, but I hope to finish reading one most weeks.

Since this week is already half gone, I've chosen a very short one - this week's fic is to be *fanfare*

Secrets by sqyd - an imaginary season 4, post CoE, with Ianto in the list of characters.

Hey, I just wrote you a book on LJ which when you find, you will DIE. Probably take you a couple of days to read or ignore it. LOL! It was not under this post if you posted this one there. Good grief! Did that make sense?

Well actually, it seems CoE does happen and he does die, but it's heading into fix-it territory by the end of chapter 2 and I'm enjoying it very much - not a lot of Gwen and plenty of new characters plus Martha. Ianto is currently dead, but far from gone, which is an intriguing situation! Well worth reading anyway!

I plan to avoid anything where Ianto is dead and stays dead.

Sounds good! I love angst anyway for some reason as long as it turns out good. I want to cry a little bit. lol!

I think you'll enjoy this one then - it has some angst, but a happy ending, kinda. I've read all four chapters, just got the smutty coda to read!
