It had been clear almost from the start that winning the heart of Ryo ‘I’m completely straight’ Maclean wasn’t going to be an easy task. For whatever reason, he seemed unwilling to admit that he found Dee attractive, even though it was obvious to Dee that he did. Persuading him to put to rest his hang-ups about being gay might take a while, but Dee was confident he could pull it off. He enjoyed a challenge, and the prize would be well worth winning.


But that was before JJ Adams showed up at the 27th, intent on rekindling a relationship with Dee that had never existed in the first place outside JJ’s imagination, and set about hampering Dee’s efforts at seduction. What must it have looked like to Ryo when JJ hurled himself into Dee’s arms, kissing the living daylights out of him?


Dee could explain, it was hardly his fault JJ had a gigantic crush on him; he’d done nothing to encourage the guy, but Ryo didn’t want to hear it, practically biting Dee’s head off when he tried, which was totally unlike him.


Looked like winning the man of his dreams was gonna be harder than he’d expected.
