The last time he’d visited New Earth had been with Rose, and it had been amazing! New New York was among the most dazzling cities ever, gleaming towers, flying cars flitting from place to place, clean air…

 
This is different, the under city, all grime, pollution, decay, and hopelessness. What’s happened here? There were so many people, and now there are so few…

 
Everyone’s on the motorway, stuck in the biggest, longest traffic jam that’s ever existed, and that’s where Martha’s been taken. To get her back, the Doctor must follow, and try to discover the reason behind the congestion.
