Summary: Jack and Ianto are tourists everywhere they go.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
A/N: Double drabble. Set in my Through Time and Space ‘Verse.
 


 
Travelling through time and space in their TARDIS, Ianto thought, was rather like being a permanent tourist. Oh, he and Jack kept busy helping people in need, rescuing stranded travellers, saving kidnap victims, settling disputes, and finding both stolen property and lost pets, but most of the time they were visiting places they’d never been before.

 
Really, there was so much space and time to explore it was hard to imagine ever getting bored. They could spend as long as they wanted on any planet, in any time period, and never have to worry about missing something amazing somewhere else, because time travel meant they could still get there before events happened.

 
He’d seen the Wright Brothers take flight, in person, had watched the Sphinx being built, had visited earth’s first colony soon after it was settled, even spent some time on the wandering planet Zoon before it was discovered.
 

“Where shall we go next?” Jack asked after they’d safely returned the priceless Orb of NiffNakk back to its rightful owner.

 
“I’ve had enough of cities for the moment. How about that festival of trees you were talking about the other week?”
 

“Oooh, good choice! They’re spectacular in the spring!”

This was lovely. It would be wonderful to be able to travel space and time although I'm such a big chicken I think I'd be worried about my safety the entire time. Not worried about the Tardis, about safety from other people/living beings.

Yes, but they're both immortal, so they don't really have to worry about their safety, although Ianto still does.
