Summary: The Doctor visits a neglected garden.

Standing in the doorway, the Doctor looked out of the TARDIS at what were once landscaped gardens and parkland, but were now an overgrown wilderness, a mass of weeds and tangled brambles.

 
It was sad what a few decades of neglect had wrought. He could remember the way it had been, with grassy walks between flower beds filled with a riot of colour. Now, despite all the greenery, it somehow looked drab. What few flowers were visible were all but choked out by the weeds.

 
He could go back to when it flourished, but he would always remember its fate.
