As was so often the case whenever he had a spare moment, Ianto was busy in the archives, sorting and cataloguing the contents of one of the side rooms, where things no one had been able to identify but which had been classified as ‘harmless’ had been dumped until they could be investigated more thoroughly.

 
Jack, having become bored with his own company since the rest of the team were busy with various projects, had decided to help his lover, which mostly meant getting in the way and generally being annoying. In other words, being himself.

 
“Oooh!” He lunged past Ianto to grab something from one of the boxes awaiting his lover’s attention. “I know what this is!”

 
Ianto rolled his eyes. “If you try to tell me it’s some kind of alien sex toy, I’m going to brain you with my clipboard.”

 
Throwing a hurt look Ianto’s way, Jack pouted. “Not everything in the universe is a sex toy.”
 

“You’re finally realising that, are you? Shame you couldn’t come to that conclusion before you tried to shove a shock-stick up my arse.” It had been an electrifying experience.
 

“I apologised! What more d’you want?”

 
“How about guaranteed safe sex?”
