A/N: This was going to be a short fic, but it wasn’t going anywhere. Then I saw this week’s challenge on tw100 and voila, my first ever drabble. Not great, but I never thought I’d manage to write anything in 100 words!

 

 

 

“We can’t keep it, Jack.”

 

“But why not? We kept Myfanwy!”

 

“Myfanwy mostly keeps to the top of the Hub, there’s plenty of space up there and it’s not like anybody else uses it, so she’s never in the way.”

 

“We kept Nosy!”

 

“Nosy’s smart, it keeps out from under our feet and it’s learned what not to touch.”

 

“We kept Velvet!”

 

“Velvet’s tiny and easy to care for.”

 

“But it’s cute!”

 

“I’m not disputing that. Though come to think of it, I could…”

 

“Well why can’t we keep it?”

 

“We have nowhere to put a full grown bloody Stegosaurus!”

Lol! Cute image! Have to see if you can send Dusty through the rift sometime.

I'm writing quite a lot at the moment, but not the next Nosy fic just yet - haven't even started it. It's sort of in the planning stages in my brain. I have a short fic I'll be posting hopefully at the weekend though, and another that's half-written. I think will probably write some short Nosy fics that are just random incidents in Nosy's life with Torchwood, not set in particular places in the timeline - like the little Out of Coffee snippet. Dusty will probably visit in one of those, with your approval, though I have no idea when I'll get it written.

Might try another drabble sometime too, if the prompts on tw100 give me any ideas!

Oh, I'm sure Dusty could make a flying visit. *grin* Or at least a purring one.

I've been writing but not Torchwood lately. Got treated badly by some in the fandom and ended up having to step back for my sanity. I'm slowly edging my toes back into Torchwood... very cautiously... so, yup I'm sure Dusty can come see Nosy when you get there...

I hope you can come back to the fandom without any of the bad stuff. This should be a happy place for fans, without any unpleasantness.

There's some very good new writers and some great new fics around, I just read one that made me feel so emotional I actually shed a few tears! Believe me, that's not an easy feat, it takes a lot to make me cry. Not a sad fic, but a definite lump-in-the-throat one.

I'll let you know when I get around to trying to write Dusty Visits the Nosy-Verse!

This icon always makes me think Ianto has Dusty on the tray - not sure what it really is, but that's where my mind goes, lol!
