Summary: To his delight, when JJ is transferred to a new precinct, he finds the man of his dreams already working there. Surely fate has brought them back together.

A/N: Double drabble.





JJ had yearned for Dee since the day they’d met. He’d worshipped Mr Wonderful all throughout training at the police academy, but after Dee graduated, they’d lost track of each other. JJ supposed Dee had been too busy with his new job to attend his graduation, which was too bad, but after several years, fate had brought them back together.


It was perfect! They’d be working side by side, and JJ just knew that in time Dee would be his. Okay, so Dee didn’t seem all that pleased to see him at first, but JJ was sure he was just surprised, and probably a bit embarrassed to be caught attempting to woo another man. Well, that was alright, JJ could afford to be charitable, Dee must have been so lonely without him; it was only natural he’d seek comfort and companionship in another’s arms, but not anymore. Now the love that had blossomed between them back at the academy could finally come into full bloom.


It was annoying that Dee was so overly concerned about his partner, all because Ryo had a bit of a fever, but JJ knew how caring Dee was.


He was confident tomorrow would be better.
