Bikky tossed and turned in his bed, knowing he needed to get some sleep. Christmas was still over a week away, which meant almost another week of school. He just wanted it to be the Christmas holiday already; he needed a break from all the learning and homework, his brain was fried. High school was way harder than junior high had been.


Besides, he’d asked for a bike for Christmas, and Ryo had said maybe. Only if he was going to get one, shouldn’t Ryo have bought it by now?


Patience was the hardest lesson he’d ever had to learn.
