“Why d’ya have to be so fussy? They’re all the same anyway, it’s not like the manufacturer makes any difference.” Dee didn’t mean to get annoyed but Ryo could be so particular over what he bought, from the kind of toothpaste he used, to soap, flashlight batteries, pens, and now he was fussing over getting a new comb. “Just pick one already!”

 
“They’re not flexible enough.”
 

“Flexible?” Now Dee was confused.
 

“Yes, I’ve got to have one that’s bendy.”
 

“Why?”
 

“Because the last time I bought one that wasn’t, it was in my back pocket and when I sat down it broke.”
 

“So what? They’re not that expensive, easy enough to get a new one.” Dee still couldn’t see the problem.
 

“That’s not the point; the broken bits were sharp.” Ryo blushed. “I just don’t want to wind up in the ER again, having comb teeth removed from my butt.
