Summary: It’s time to check the resident Fluffs’ vital statistics again.

A/N: Double drabble.
 
 

Owen was taking measurements again, first getting Nosy’s vital statistics, then checking Dizzy’s growth rate. The Flufflet was over two metres long by now, and filling out in a healthy way, having lost its ‘puppy fat’ through plenty of healthy exercise and good, nutritious food.

 
“What’s the verdict?” Ianto asked, ambling over.
 

“Dizzy’s grown five centimetres since last month, but only half a centimetre in girth. As far as I can tell, it’s a healthy size and weight for its age.”

 
Everything to do with Fluffs was guesswork, since before Nosy, no one at Torchwood had ever heard of Fluffs, let alone met one.

 
“It certainly looks healthy.”
 

Dizzy’s purple and black fur was thick and glossy, its eyes bright, and it had abundant energy.
 

“How about Nosy?” Jack asked, joining them.
 

“Same as always. It’s only grown three centimetres in length since you found it, and while its girth fluctuated a bit to start with, it hasn’t changed in the last four years, not since you gave it too many sweet treats that Christmas.”

 
“Which confirms what we’ve always thought, it was fully grown when we found it,” Ianto said.
 

‘I’m the size I want to be,’ Nosy thought.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Fluffs can control their size, at least in terms of getting longer and wider. I'm not sure about decreasing in length, but they are amazing, so even that seems possible.

They can choose to stop at a certain length, but they can still get fat if they overdo the sugary treats.
